Our History

Our journey started in 2015 with the closure of the Public Toilets in Juniper Green.

Below is a timeline of events that shaped how we got to where we are today.

The project started when…

  • March 2015 City of Edinburgh Council (CEC) close the public toilets in Juniper Green.

  • November 2019 – Charity Pentlands Community Space (PCS) set up.

  • 2020 – Awareness raising campaign and local fund established.
